View of a mountain, Camden, Maine; Gookin family - Mary Isabel Cleveland Gookin, mother, Grace Frederick Gookin, daughter, and George Frank Gookin, father staring at two cows from other side of the fence preparing to walk through the cow pasture. The women had walking sticks in hand and George Gookin appears to have a kettle-like item in his hand, identified by Kay White, granddaughter of Grace Gookin.
Photo album c 1898-1899, B&W photos, 3.3" square, 95 pages, two images per page, mounted on heavy cardboard pages. The Gookin cottage on Lake Megunticook and presumably the Gookins and friends are the subjects. Mary Isabel Cleveland Gookin is likely the photographer.
Also included is a folder of genealogical notes, research, and correspondence related to the album and the family.
