Two men, one is Frank Gookin who is rowing while the second one fishes and two women in a rowboat on Megunticook Lake, Camden, Maine.; Grace Gookin and Frank Gookin getting ready for lunch as identified by Kay White, great granddaughter who also states it was taken on June 25, 1900. Woman is looking into a kettle and the man appears to be working on making a fire.
Photo album c 1898-1899, B&W photos, 3.3" square, 95 pages, two images per page, mounted on heavy cardboard pages. The Gookin cottage on Lake Megunticook and presumably the Gookins and friends are the subjects. Mary Isabel Cleveland Gookin is likely the photographer.
Also included is a folder of genealogical notes, research, and correspondence related to the album and the family.
