Courtship letters between Amelia Erickson and Stanley Ireland.
Amelia Marie Erickson was daughter of Erik Johan Eriksson (1862-1932) and Maria Matilda Sundman (1863-?) of Stockholm, Sweden. She graduated from Rockport High School in 1909. The Erickson family lived on Union Street in 1914. Amelia married Stanley Ireland on 15 December 1914 and they had three children: Dorothy Ireland Davis, Ruth Ireland Caliguari, and Nora Jean Erickson Gordon (mother of donor).
Amelia's brother Claes Johan Lennart Erickson (1890-1923) married Asenath Carleton and three children: Thelma Erickson Calderwood, John C. Erickson, and Gertrude Erickson Dodge.
Stanley V. Ireland was a farmer from Chester, Maine and the son of Obed W. Ireland (1848-1925), a lumberman in Mattawamkeag, and Lydia G. Berry (1853-1911).
