This volume contains the marriage records for Lincoln County up until the year 1866. The records are copied from various documents found in the Lincoln County vault and include the William McCobb record book of marriages performed by him from 1777 to 1810, the Hezekiah Prince record book of marriages performed by him from 1804 to 1838, the Green Scrapbook of marriage notices from 1770 to 1860, two ledger books with marriages recorded from 1828 to 1846 and then 1846 to 1866 and court records volume 2 containing marriages from 1759 to 1776.
