Scope and Content

A letter addressed to Mrs. Emma C. Dickens, Secretary of the Trustees, Camden Public Library, from Theresa C. Stuart, organizer at the Maine Library Commission. The letter concerns the Camden Public Library's involvement in the program for donating books to soldiers. The letter is typewritten on Maine Library Commission stationery, but includes a handwritten note at the bottom of the third page which reads: "Do you play 'auction' as intensely as you used to in Corinna? I have not played [?] twice since I used to play with 'Doctor' and be scolded. T.C.S."
