Scope and Content

A typewritten letter on lined stationery from the Selectmen's Office, Camden, Maine. On the back written in pencil is a note which reads "Reply to letter written April 5, 1917." Camden, Me., Aug. 18/17. Mrs. Emma C. Dickens, Sec. Library Trustees, Dear Mrs. Dickens: Yours of April 5th with request that the management of the Library Lot be placed in the hands of a committee was rec'd and I have delayed answering a long time thinking that some plan might be adopted but from the way matters look now I think the management will have to remain as it is for this year at least.
