Description

Using Reuel Robinson's History of Camden and Rockport that ended in 1907, Williams has written this volume to cover the period 1931-1950 and uses nearly the same format as that of Robinson. The Camden Herald records are the primary source for information. Besides news events etc, Williams includes officers of town organizations, weather reports, town vital statistics etc.. In the center of the book is a section containing representative photographs of this time period. At the end of the book is a series of narratives written by local people. In the appendices are lists of town officials and town organizations, church pastors and ice-out dates on Megunticook Lake. Physical Description: Blue hardcover with gold lettering. Indexed.
