Scope and Content

Citizen seaman's identification card issued to Alanson B. Thomas on February 26, 1920, in the port of New York. This card was issued by a customs official so that Thomas could leave the United States. There is a photograph, thumbprint, and signature belonging to Thomas. The identification card lists his vessel as the LAKE GREENWOOD, date of arrival September 1919. There is only one entry in the section for Subsequent Arrivals in the United States, in red pen, which lists arrival in New York on June 1, 1920, vessel TENAFLY. Signed by immigration official.
