Know all Men by these Presents, That I Samuel Jones of Camden in the County of Lincoln and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Tanner in Consideration of Eighty Dollars to me paid by James Barrett of Camden aforesaid Tanner the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, bargain sell and convey unto the said James Barrett and his heirs and assigns forever, one half of an undivided piece of land Situated in Camden aforesaid and is bounded as follows vis beginning at Jonathan [Merry or Morey] Southwest Corner and running southerly about nine rods, to a stake and stones at Jones & Barrett line near the brook thence westerly about Seven rods on said Jones & Barrett line to a stake and stone, thence northerly about ten rods to a stake and Stone, thence northerly about ten rods to a stake and Stone at Ephraim Woods land thence easterly about Seven rods to the bounds first mentioned
TO Have and to Hold the afore granted Premises with all the privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging to the said James Barrett and his heirs and assigns, to their and their and their sole use benefit and behoof forever.
And do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said James Barrett his Heirs and Assigns, That I am lawfully seized in fee of the Premises, That they are free of all incumbrances, That have good right to sell and convey the same to the said James Barrett in manner aforesaid
And that I will Warrant and Defend the same to the said James Barrett his Heirs and Assigns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.
In Witness whereof, we the said Samuel and Nancy Jones have hereunto set our Hand and Seal this fifteenth Day of February in the Year of our LORD, one thousand eight hundred and five
