Know all Men by these Presents, That I Samuel Jones of Camden in the County of Lincoln and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Farmer? in Consideration of fifty Dollars to me paid by James Barrett of Camden & County of Lincoln & State of aforesaid, Farmer the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, bargain sell and convey unto the said James Barrett and his heirs and assigns forever, the undivided one half of a gore of land lying near meguntikook harbour in Camden containing forty nine & a half rods, & is bound as followsis viz beginning, at the northeast corner of Ephraim Barrett & Nathan Brown (Born) near the Cooper shop at a Stake and Stons adjoining Phinehas Bowers, & running south twenty four degrees west on said Bowers line to a Stake & Stones nineteen rods thence South thirty five Degrees east to a stake & stones five rods and one half thence north fifty five degrees east to the first mentioned bounds being eighteen rods-Also the one half of one other piece of land containing nine rods & lying near the above mentioned gore, & is bound as follows one half of a undivided piece of land Situated in Camden aforesaid and is bounded as follows Viz. begining at a stake & stones at the road thence south fifty five Degrees west two rods to a stake & Stones & being the east corner of the acre lot so called, thence north thirtyfive Degrees west on the line of the Acre lot to a stake & stones four rods thence north seventy five degrees east to a Stake at the road three rods, thence south sixteen degrees east as the road runs, three rods to the first mentioned bounds~
TO Have and to Hold the afore granted Premises with all the privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging to him the said James Barrett and his heirs and assigns, to them and their sole use benefit and behoof forever.
And I do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said James Barrett his Heirs and Assigns, That I am lawfully seized in fee of the Premises, That they are free of all incumbrances, That I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said James Barrett in manner aforesaid.
And that I will Warrant and Defend the same to the said James Barrett his Heirs and Assigns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.
In Witness whereof, we the said Samuel and Nancy, my wife have our Hands and Seals this fifteenth Day of February in the Year of our LORD, one thousand eight hundred and five
