Merrill, August 2018. Deed Farnham Hall to Ephraim Barrett [End of cover] Know all men by these presents that I Farnham Hall of Camden in the County of Lincoln & State of Massachusetts, Esqr. in Consideration of fifty two Dollars paid by Ephraim Barrett of Camden County & State aforesaid Tanner the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, sell and convey unto the said Ephraim Barrett one undivided half part of the seventy fifth part of an half acre land on which stands the Meetinghouse in sd Camden together with one undivided half of a pew situated on the lower floor of sd House & being number twelve - also one undivided half part of a pew situated in sd meeting house in the Gallery & being number Eight - Together with all the privileges thereunto belonging - To Have and to Hold the afore-granted Premises to the said Ephraim Barrett his Heirs and Assigns, to his & their Use and Behoof forever. And I do covenant with the Ephraim Barrett his Heirs and Assigns, That I am lawfully seized in Fee of the afore-granted Premises; That they are free of all Incumbrances; That I have good Right to sell and convey the same to the said Ephraim Barrett And that I will warrant and defend the same Premises to the said Ephraim Barrett and his Heirs and Assigns forever, against the lawful Claims and Demands of all Persons. In Witness whereof, the said Farnham Hall have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this fourth Day of November in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirteen Signed, sealed, and delivered in Presence of us, Mary Hall Farnham Hall Hannah B Rogers Jonas Wheeler Lincoln ss. Apr. 22, 1815. Then the above-named Farnham Hall acknowledged the above Instrument to be free Act and Deed-before me, Jona Thayer Just. of Peace.
