Know all Men that I Ephraim Barrett of Camden in the county of Lincoln do owe unto Thomas McLellan of Thomaston in said County the sum of one hundred & fifty Dollars of the lawful money of Massachusetts, to be paid to the said Thomas McLellan on the first day of November - 1818 And if I shall fail of the payment of the debt aforesaid, by the time aforesaid, I will and grant, that the said debt shall be levied of my goods and chattels, lands and tenements; and in want thereof, of my body.
Dated at Thomaston this twenty second day of August in the year of our Lord, 1818
