Merrill, August 2018. Ephraim Barrett Debt $150 [End of cover] Know all Men that I Ephraim Barrett of Camden in the county of Lincoln do owe unto Thomas McLellan of Thomaston in said County the sum of one hundred & fifty Dollars of the lawful money of Massachusetts, to be paid to the said Thomas McLellan on the first day of November - 1818 And if I shall fail of the payment of the debt aforesaid, by the time aforesaid, I will and grant, that the said debt shall be levied of my goods and chattels, lands and tenements; and in want thereof, of my body. Dated at Thomaston this twenty second day of August in the year of our Lord, 1818 Witness my hand and seal, Ephm Barrett Lincoln - ss. Acknowledged the day and year last abovesaid, Before me - Ebenr.
