Know all Men by these Presents, that We S.A. Jones for Self & S.A. Jones as Trustee for N. B. Jones of Camden in the County of Knox & State of Maine in consideration of seventy five dollars paid by William G. Barrett of said Camden the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, have remised, released, and forever quit-claimed, and do for our selves and our heirs, by these presents, remise, release, and forever quit-claim unto the said William G. Barrett his heirs and assigns, forever all our rights-title and interest in and to the following described parcel of land situated in said Camden and described as follows To wit Beginning at the southeasterly corner of land this day decided to said S.A. Jones & S.A. Jones as Trustee for N.B. Jones & on the easterly line of Chestnut Street and at the northwesterly corner of said Barrett's garden as now fenced thence north by 5°east by said garden fence seven rods and sixteen links to the northeasterly corner of said garden, thence N 41° east five rods &21 links to the line of Benj. Porter's land, thence southeasterly by said Porter's line to the original line of said Barrett's garden, thence northeasterly and south westerly by said original garden lines to said Chestnut Street, thence northerly by said Street to the place of beginning, said first line running about nineteen & a half feet north of the northerly end of said Barretts dwelling house.
To have and to hold the same, together with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging, to him the said William G Barrett his heirs and assigns forever; so that neither we the said S. A. Jones for self and as trustee for N.B. Jones or our heirs, or any other person or persons, claiming from or under us or them, or in the name, right, or stead of us or them, shall, or will, by any way or means, have claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises, or their appurtenances, or any part or parcel thereof, forever.
In witness whereof We the said S.A. Jones for himself and as trustee for N.B. Jones and Ellen f. Jones wife of said S.A. Jones in testimony of her relinquishment of Dower in said premises have hereunto set our hands and seals this twenty second day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty four
