Crawford, LAWYER, CAMDEN, MAINE [End of cover] Know all Men by these Presents, That WE, Kate W. Hall an Ellen E. Hall of Camden, Knox County, Maine, and Joseph P. Hall of Boston, Mass in consideration of Seventy five (75) dollars paid by William H. Thorndike of said Camden, Maine, the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell and convey, unto the said William H. Thorndike, his Heirs and Assigns forever, a certain lot or parcel of land situated on the easterly side of Belmont Ave in said Camden, bounded and described as follows: - Beginning at an iron bolt in the easterly line of said Ave at northerly corner of the Gilkey lot; thence N. 30 ½ ° W. along the line of said Ave four and one half (4 ½ ) rods to iron bolt in ground: thence N. 59 ½ ° E. fifty eight and one half (58 ½) ft, more or less to line of land of Barrett heirs, now occupied by said Thorndike: thence southerly along line of Barrett field ninety five (95) ft, more or less, to the line of the Gilkey lot: thence westerly four and one half (4 ½) ft to the line of Belmont Ave. the place of beginning. [End of page 1] To have and to hold the aforegranted and bargained premises, with all the privileges and appurtenances thereof, to the said Wm. H. Thorndike his Heirs and Assigns, to their use and behoof forever. And we do covenant with the said Grantee, his Heirs and Assigns, that we are lawfully seized in fee of the premises; that they are free of all incumbrances; that we have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Grantee to hold as aforesaid; and that we and our Heirs, shall and will Warrant and Defend the same to the said Grantee, his Heirs and Assigns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.
