Scope and Content

ROCKLAND, MAINE FOLIO, GEOLOGIC ATLAS OF THE UNITED STATES, 1908. 3 pages of introduction, 15 pages of descriptive information and 5 maps: Topography; Surface Geology; Areal Geology; Economic Geology; and Structure Sections. Staple and tape binding, with paper covers, which have markedly deteriorated. The introductory material printed inside the front cover is missing, as pieces of the front cover are missing; the second and third introductory pages are brittle and broken free. The first narrative page (un-numbered) is embrittled and discoloured. The following pages are yellowed. The five maps are printed on better quality paper and are intact.
