PROOFS OF NEWSPAPER ADVERTISEMENTS FOR THE VICTORY LIBERTY LOAN - " THE VICTORIOUS FIFTH. Prepared by the Liberty Loan Committee of New England, 95 Milk Street, Boston, Mass. Tape and staple bound book of 25 sheets, magazine paper, black and white. Prepared for an advertising campaign of 6 weeks covering March 31-May 10. Each advertisement is for a particular date in that time span. Directions for use are printed on the front cover; release dates and an order sheet are on a 9 ½" X 13 3/8" yellow sheet bound before the first proof sheet. That sheet includes the date 1919. This book was sent, rolled, to Chas E. Wood, Esq., Chm., Camden, Maine from the Treasury Department Liberty Loan Committee of Portland, Maine. The cover/wrapper is included, and bears the pencil notation, "5th Loan April 21 to May 10, 1919." NOTE: This book has been preserved in very good condition by being wrapped in a polyethylene sheet.
