A letter from George Perry to Paula Page, written on Wilder W. Perry letterhead and stamped with George's address at 3 Marine Avenue in Camden. 23 Oct. 1968 Dear Paula-- I printed this letterhead for my father about 1908-09. The printing press came as a premium with a Larkin Soap order. We Perry boys used to print name cards for our school mates--5[cents] a dozen--and just think of it in "Gold Ink." Along in late summer Duchess, our old Chive and I went down to the Lobster Lane Book Store at Spruce Head. We found "A Far Journey" by Abraham Mitrie Ribhany[sic]. You have only one guess--who did we think about? How goes the harp and school in Cleveland? And how is George? Tell him that his fine wool sweater is helping to keep me warm now that cool days are here. Nearly all the little boats in the harbor have turned in for the long winter. Yesterday there were about three left. The oak planks of our The Frenchman are just what our fireplace needs. You should see the colors that come from the burning of the copper paint and the phosphorous. Kindest wishes from your "Uncle" George
