Scope and Content

Scrapbook donated by Mrs. Reuel Robinson, containing the text of N.C. Fletcher's "The Annals of the Town of Camden, ME" published in the newspaper the Rockland Opinion in 1883 and 1884. Pages 1-22 contain the Annals. Pages 23-33 contain several "Camden and Vicinity" columns by "Sigma" presumably also from the Rockland Opionion, undated. Pages 44-46 contain clippings of the column "Reminiscences", numbered I - IV, by Reuel Robinson. Handwritten note on p. 44 describes the clippings of the Reminiscences as "Camden in the 1880s (Published in 1913)". 13.625" x 17.5" page size. Hard cover. c 84 pages. The balance of the pages contain miscellaneous newspaper clipping from 1910s to 1974. There are photographs of the scrapbook pages of the Annals in the "Finding Aids" folder on the staff computer desktop. There is also a set of photocopies of the Annals in the Vertical Files under "Annals of Camden."
