Scope and Content

TOWN OF SEARSMONT, MAINE [1888]. This black and white map of Searsmont is from the 1888 Waldo County Atlas, and shows the principal (town) roads and names of individuals and businesses along those roads, in italic font, Post Office locations in serif font bold; and hydrography, with names in smaller serif bold italic print. Scale of original atlas version is 25 rods/inch. (This scale does not apply to this enlarged photocopy). Gift of Donovan A.R. Bowley January 2015.
