Scope and Content

PEYTON PLACE locations, filmed in Camden in 1957. This map shows the locations where Peyton Place was filmed in Camden. It covers the area between Camden's Rockport and Lincolnville boundaries, and depicts roads and their names in black, with numbered locations in red on the primary map. There is an area-wide inset map covering Camden and parts of Rockport, Hope, and Lincolnville and depicting area shots in red shading and shot site locations are numbered in red ink. The key to the numbered locations appears in blue ink at the foot of the map. There is a scale in feet.
