Scope and Content

Interview February 22, 2007 with Clifford Chater in Camden, Maine. Interview conducted by Barbara Dyer (volunteer) for the Camden Area History Center. Mr. Chater was born in Bath, Maine in March 1924 and moved to Camden in 1929. Discusses the family wholesale vegetable business "Traders of Camden" and flower business. After World War II he became an entomologist and pesticide specialist in Massachusetts.
