A history of Cyr Plantation from 1870 to 1970. Includes the 1870 and 1880 U.S. Census records, town officers, road issues (from 1907 to 1970 only), and school history including teachers. Rich in Acadian history the Cyrs were believed to be originated from the third generation of Pierre Cyr "Sire", born in 1644 in Beaubasin, France. He is believed to have arrived in Port Royal in 1668. Many family photographs in black and white are in the book.
