Prepared by Library Trustee Terry Gruener for the dedication of the children's garden in the fall of 1996 in conjunction with the Centennial Wing dedication of the library. Includes notes from the landscape architect, David B. Melchert and an overview of the Garden's books by well-known Maine children's authors and illustrators. The cover of the book is a rendering prepared by Patricia E Boothby and David B. Melchert, Landscape Architects, of the firm Stroudwater Design Group, Inc.
