Scope and Content

Ink drawing by Camden architect Parker M. Hooper of the memorial stone tower on Mt. Battie which he designed in honor of those men who were killed in World War I. The tower was dedicated August 20, 1921. It replaced the Mt. Battie Clubhouse which was torn down in 1920.

Sketch is stained and discolored from age. Has been glued to a photo mat, which is curling and stressing the sketch but cannot be removed without damaging the sketch. Edges of mat board are cracked.
