Scope and Content

Films by John & Nellie Hart of Camden circa 1950s. Reel canisters were transferred to Betamax video tape by the donor. Reels 1-4 are located on Beta tape 1, Reels 5-8 are located on Beta tape 2, and Reels 9-12 are located on Beta tape 3. See attached "Hart Films content.pdf." The three Betamax tapes were transferred to three corresponding Panasonic mini-DV tapes. These 3 mini-DV tapes were finally converted to two DVDs in January 2006 by Northeast Historic Film in Bucksport, Maine. DVD #1 contains Reels 1-4 of the Hart films. DVD #2 contains Reels 5-12 of the Hart films.
