Using Reuel Robinson's History of Camden and Rockport that ended in 1907, Williams has written this volume to cover the period 1930-1950 and uses nearly the same format as that of Robinson using Camden Herald records as the primary source for information. Besides news events etc, Williams includes officers of town organizations, weather reports, town vital statistics etc.. In the center of the book is a section containing representative photographs of this time period.
