A film about a young boy who grows up at sea learning from the salty fishing crew of a trawler fishing the Grand Banks. The pampered son of a steamship owner, Harvey, falls overboard and is rescued by the captain and crew of a fishing trawler. The film depicts his struggles and developing friendships with his rescuers.
Some of the 1970's movie was filmed locally in the Camden area with local vessels and town's people participating in the making of the movie.
