Volume 7 of the Mayflower Families Through Five Generations series. This volume records the descendants of Peter Brown, one of the signers of the November 1620 Mayflower Compact. He married Martha Ford, by whom he had 2 daughters, and then Mary Brown.
The Mayflower Society publishes the majority of its books as a result of an ongoing program to identify the first five generations of Pilgrim descendants. This Five Generations Project involves the meticulous investigation of primary records that substantiate the identity of, often obscure, individuals and families. The time period these books cover is usually from about the time of the Mayflower landing, in 1620, through the era of the American Revolution.
