Scope and Content

Genealogical forms, photocopied images, and research related to the Erickson, Ireland, Sundman, Olsson, Soderstrom, and Matsdotter families of Sweden and Maine compiled by Brian Gordon. Particular focus on the Erickson/Eriksson family of Rockport. Amelia Marie Erickson was daughter of Erik Johan Eriksson (1862-1932) and Maria Matilda Sundman (1863-?) of Stockholm, Sweden. She graduated from Rockport High School in 1909. The Erickson family lived on Union Street in 1914. Amelia married Stanley Ireland and they had three children: Dorothy Ireland Davis, Ruth Ireland Caliguari, and Nora Jean Erickson Gordon (mother of donor). Amelia's brother Claes Johan Lennart Erickson (1890-1923) married Asenath Carleton and three children: Thelma Erickson Calderwood, John C. Erickson, and Gertrude Erickson Dodge.
