Transcription of the childhood diaries of David A. Nichols by his niece Meredith Marcinkewicz. Nichols grew up at Lincolnville Beach, Maine, and wrote his diaries in composition books from 1924-1930. Contains notes and names from Lincolnville Beach, Maine in the 1920s.
As a teenager, Nichols sold magazines to help earn his way to college. He attended Bates College and earned his Master's Degree at the University of Michigan. He became a lawyer in Camden, Maine, and became Associate Justice of the Maine Supreme Court from 1977-1988. He died June 21, 1997.
