Wooden half model of the 4-masted barque "Frederick Billings." Captain Sherman, who lived at 4 Union Street, Camden, Maine owned the boat. The vessel was 2628 tons, 282 x 45 x 29 feet. Master builder was John Pascal & son. Shipmasters were Isaac W. Sherman and Herbert H. Williams. Set on fire at Pisqua, Chile, fully loaded with nitrate, the vessel exploded and sank in 20 minutes on 29 July 1893, though all crew were saved. It was said that the crew set the fires in rebellion due to harsh treatment.
