Description

Mrs. A. E. Chatfield's Victory Grove flags (13) representing the Allies of WW I, flown during the memorial ceremony for those who took part in the war, 1919. As part of this ceremony, a new Liberty pine tree was planted for each returned soldier. There were 44 trees in total, four for those who gave their lives and the remainder for those still living.
