Copy of B&W photo. Washington Street-Millville Village area of Camden, Maine, either late 1890s or early 1900s. In the center is the former Camden Woolen Mill and Tannery site. In the period when poet Edna St. Vincent Millay and family lived nearby. The left shows the Mountain View Cemetery where Leonard-Corthell-Lynch and Ward families are buried.
The family of Lisle & Arabel Leonard Madell, Chester, Olive, Blanche settled at 144 Washington Street in 1911/12. In 2022 descendants of Madell Leonard still lived in Millville , now 5th or 6th generation.
