This book recounts the incident in Pensacola, Florida in 1861 when Navy seaman WIlliam Conway of Camden refused to haul down the American flag during the Civil War. In 1906 the Town of Camden erected a monument in Conway's honor and this book records in both text and pictures the celebrations that day.
