The Project Visibility documentary and accompanying training was created in 2004 by the Boulder County Area Agency on Aging in response to the fear expressed by Rainbow Elders (LGBTQ+/50+) that they would need to retreat back in the closet in order to access assisted living or nursing home care. This new version of the documentary (completed in 2022, and released in 2023) features Rainbow Elders (LGBTQ+/50+) who are living and experiencing life in Boulder and surrounding counties in the state of Colorado. They share their stories, so we can make visible the differences that exist within the LGBTQ+ community.Secondary Title
