HOLDINGS: Volume 3, #1.Context
"Dykes, Disability & Stuff" was an irregularly published magazine focused on Lesbians and disabilities. Founded in the summer of 1988 and originally published by Catherine (Lohr) Odette and Sara Karon, it was first produced out of Boston, Massachusetts, but later moved production to Madison, Wisconsin. The magazine was issued in six different formats to accommodate readers with various disabilities. These included standard print, large print, Braille and cassette recording. After losing funding from its Boston sponsor following its 1991 move to Wisconsin, the magazine struggled financially, ultimately ceasing production in the Fall of 2001.Publication Details
