"Feminist Periodicals: A Current Listing Of Contents" reprints on a quarterly basis the table-of-contents pages of more than 150 English-language popular & grassroots magazines and academic journals in the fields of gender & women's studies, sexuality studies, & LGBTQIA+ studies. Since many international and special interest titles are not indexed in standard sources, "Feminist Periodicals" is the best key to their contents. From 1981 through 2007 "Feminist Periodicals" was issued in print only. Since vol. 28 #1, Winter 2008, "Feminist Periodicals" has been an online-only publication. "Feminist Periodicals" was first issued in 1981 using "scissors, glue & a copier," as of 2008 being released in PDF form, & currently made available as a searchable Omeka digital collections site. Published by the Office of the Gender & Women's Studies Librarian at the University of Wisconsin, it seeks to "represent diverse resources that focus on feminism, gender & women's studies, sexuality studies, & LGBTQIA+ studies," with the stated goal of "highlight[ing] the imperative scholarship & work being done by scholars, organizers, journalists, & others across the globe."Category
