"Sinister Wisdom" is a multicultural Lesbian literary & art journal that publishes four issues each year. "The journal's content focuses on Lesbian art, poetry, and literature and the consideration of issues of relevance to the Lesbian community. It features articles, essays, reviews and interviews with creative Lesbians of all ilks.
HOLDINGS: Wanderground holds a complete collection since 1976, with the exception of #3, 1977 and #26, 1984. We continue to receive new issues of "Sinister Wisdom" as they are published.Context
Publishing since 1976, when Harriet Ellenberger and Catherine Nicholson served as editors. It is currently edited by Julie R. Enzer, PhD. "Sinister Wisdom" works to create a multicultural, multi-class Lesbian space in which to consider and advance the exploration of Lesbian community issues and uses the power of language to reflect our diverse experiences and to enhance our ability to develop critical judgment as Lesbians in evaluating our community and our world.Publication Details
