"Sisters" was a monthly publication of the San Francisco branch of the early Lesbian group Daughters of Bilitis. It was created following the controversies of "The Ladder," with some DOB members feeling that while "The Ladder" supported the needs of Liberation, there was still a need for a Lesbian magazine solely dedicated to Lesbian Liberation. It ran from 1970 to 1975.Publication Details
