Several Lesbian and feminist organizations joined forces to organize the 1981 Take Back the Night march in Providence, RI. The donor was one of the organizers, as a member several of the sponsoring organizations, including: Women's Liberation Union, Women Against Violence Against Women, Lesbian Feminist Union, and Feminist Resources Unlimited.
