Three Quarter Grooved Axe. Material: stone. Size: 3 1/2" W. x 8 1/4" L. x 2" D. Description: gray stone; three quarters grooved; edged on wider end; groove encircles narrower rounded end.

Context

Three quarter grooved axe used by Native Americans. Dr. Schirmer of Minnesota State University, Mankato visited 2 July 2013 and determined that this is a Native American tool.
