Basket. Material: grass. Size: 11" diameter x 3" H. Dscription: light brown sweet grass fiber braided and then woven into circular pattern; smooth pink reed woven to form bottom and upper edge design. Two smaller baskets are attached to interior to hold small tools or notions. ((b) Lid. Material: grass. Size:11 1/2" diameter x 2" H. Description: light brown fibers and smooth pink reed woven in a circular pattern; handle at center top is woven grass fiber braided and attached to form a loop.

Donation card states: "Sweet grass sewing basket made by Indians. Used by Elizabeth Bierman Herbst".
