Material: metal. Size: 1 5/8" W. x 15 1/8" L. x 3/4" D. Description: blackened steel - blade guard imprinted: "W.K.C." - rippled metal tang screws to handle - undercut groove to fit on rifle - U.S. Army issue - fits into sheath #58.96.2

Context

Lester Quitney was dischanged honorably from the U.S. Army in 1945. He was a hired farm hand & lived in Iosco township most of his life with his brother, Vernon. Goes with 58.96.2
