(a,b) Material: textile. Size: 2 1/2" W. at top x 5" L. Description: red and white cotton knit -two rows red alternating with two rows white (a) white piece of yarn woven through top pompom attached to end of drawstring. (b) red piece of yarn woven through top pompom attached to each end of drawstring.

Context

Child's attire. Made by Emily Durkee Preston for her son, Lucious "Lute" Preston. Lute was born July 3, 1877 and died April 12, 1961. Lute and Joise Leuthold were children of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Holt Preston.
