Description

My Best Cigar Box. Material: wood, paper. Size:4 1/2" W. x 8 1/8" L. x 2 1/2" H. Description: natural wooden box with red and cream colored decorative paper edging and a paper hinged lid; black stamp on lid: "My Best" and "Factory No. 41 Dist. Of Minn. 60." and ornate black shield logo; stamped on front box edge: "Londres, Fin.."; sticker on back: "G. Schildknecht, Waseca, Minn." and the manufacturer's legal compliance statement; blue stamped sealing tape across opening: "50 Cigars, Place for Series of 1883 Cancellations, United States Tax", "L" on a shield logo; "Internal Revenue" and picture of government official Clay; inside lid stamped in red and outlined in decorative blue edging: "My Best Five Cent Cigar Gus. Schildknecht"; plain paper lined box.
