Description

Material: paper and glass. Size: 1 7/8" W. x 2 1/2" L. x 1 1/4" deep. Description: gold, green, white box - green, black and yellow plaid accordion fold out panels - red straps hold various sized needles - inside lid pictures a peasant costumed boy and girl with a hurdy-gurdy - mirror on box top has a bellflower sticker printed in black: "Friendship" - outer side patterned in white squares and stars - trim missing from one side of lid.

Context

Belonged to Lu Hensel. Used as a needle box.
