Material: textile. Size: 14" W. x 20" L. Description: tan rayon net with an overall pattern of red cherries and green leaves - elastic on both sides holds bustle in place - raw cotton padding. Stains present and fabric yellowed.

Context

Bustle used by Ella Hansen for costume purposes and made by her about 1950. Garment worn by women on the back of the body below the waist to distend the skirt.
