Description

Milk Can. Material: metal. Size: a) Lid. Size: 5 1/4" diameter x 4" H. (includes handle on lid. b) Can. Size: 6 7/8" diameter x 8 1/2" H. Description: silver colored metal can with a heavy wire handle attached at each side through metal eyelets riveted to can; stamped on side of can: "LIQ. 4 Q."

Context

"Doc" Avery Hall was a career army officer who drove through Waseca, while he was still in the service. He liked the looks of the town so well he came here after he retired and started a "Furniture Hospital". He was active in the Veterans organizations and was an adviser on Museum military artifacts.
