Description

Milk or Cream Can. Material: metal. Size: 9" H. x 5" diameter. Description: (a) aluminum container; heavy wire carrying handle attached at each side through metal eyelets riveted to can; (b) lid with handle at top.

Context

Used by Mrs. D.E. Perrin in the 1890s and later. Used when milk was delivered in bulk to each doorstep.
