Description

Black Painted Wooden Baby Carriage. Material: wood, metal, textile. Size: 17" W. x 44 1/2" L. x 44" H. Description: black wooden carriage - black cloth padded seat - gold metal bracket on side of black cloth canopy - black handle - metal springs - four black metal wheels.

Context

The buggy came from the former Holtz House in Janesville, 500 N. Main. The buggy was left there by a previous owner perhaps the Dieudonne family when Herman Holtz purchased the house. This house has had various owners over the past years: The Lieberg family, the Dieudonne family, the Ed Holtz family, Linda and Larry Johnson and Pete and Carolyn Altieri (1990s); Pam and John Miller owned it in 2002.
